Abstract:
To use a carrier for producing a hot-melt type ink comprising at least a colorant, a freely selected binder, and the carrier, to provide a method for printing an acceptable material with the hot-melt type ink composition, comprising a step for heating the ink to a temperature higher than a temperature at which the ink is liquid, and a step for transferring the liquid ink to the acceptable element in an image-like state, and to provide new hot-melt type ink.
This hot-melt type ink comprises at least a colorant, a binder, and a carrier obtained by reacting a reactant selected from alcohols, amines, mercaptans, carboxylic acids, carboxamide and ammonia with a 6 to 24C alkylketene dimer.
