PURPOSE: To supply high-temperature hot-water surely by a method wherein a case, accommodating a water temperature sensing member, is provided protrudingly in a water tank and a shock absorbing member, absorbing a stress upon low temperature displacement of the water temperature sensing member, is provided in the device.
CONSTITUTION: A case 16 is provided protrudingly in a water tank 11 and is provided with a water stop valve 20 at the inside thereof. A water temperature sensing member 24 is made of shape memory alloy and is extended at about 96°C to push down the valve 20 and close the flow path for a hot-water supplying path 19. A shock absorbing member 20a is provided between a valve body 22 and the water temperature sensing member 24 and absorbs the push-down force of the valve body upon low temperature displacement of the member 24. The case, accommodating the member 24, is provided protrudingly at the inside of the water tank 11 in such manner, therefore, the temperature increase of hot- water may be sensed correctly, while the low-temperature hot-water may be prevented from leaking until a temperature, whereat the water temperature sensing member 24 extends suddenly, by the effect of the shock absorbing member 20a.
