Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply device that uses firewood such as thinnings as fuel.SOLUTION: A hot water supply device comprises: hot water generating means 2 for generating hot water; a first circulating system 6 for circulating hot water generated by the hot water generating means 2; a hot water storage tank 4 for storing hot water; a second circulating system 8 for circulating water in the hot water storage tank 4; and a heat exchanger 10 for exchanging heat between hot water flowing in the first circulating system 6 and water flowing in the second circulating system 8. The hot water generating means 2 comprises: a hot water container body 14 that houses hot water; and firewood combustion means 16 (16A and 16B) housed in the hot water container body 14. Hot water circulating in the first circulating system 6 flows through the hot water container body 14. The firewood combustion means 16 comprises: combustor bodies for combusting firewood; and air supply means for supplying combustion air. Air to be supplied to the air supply means is heated by using the heat of combustion exhaust gas from the firewood combustion means 16.
