Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system capable of supplying hot water at a required temperature with high stability while inhibiting a heating operation of a combustion type hot water heater from being executed.SOLUTION: A tank controller 41 detects the quantity of remaining hot water in a hot water reservoir tank 31 separately for high and low levels when starting supplying hot water from a hot water pipe 32. The detection is executed to change a remaining hot water quantity threshold separating the high and low levels for the quantity of remaining hot water according to the environmental temperature. In the case where the quantity of remaining hot water is at the high level, hot water is supplied via a bypass pipe 34 without executing a heating operation of a combustion type hot water heater 10 until a hot water shortage state. In the case where the quantity of remaining hot water is at the low level, hot water is supplied while executing the heating operation of the combustion type hot water heater 10.
