In an example of a microwave oven, a control circuit 8 is constituted to control operations for heat cooking by a magnetron 9 and a heater 10, and to perform voice guidance and notice of information by a loudspeaker 7. The control circuit 8 is provided with functions of a voice data storage part 8a and a voice data selection part 8b. A plurality of voice output data using different expressions for the same notice contents are stored as a data group. The control circuit 8 reads a data group corresponding to notice contents out, and selects and outputs voice output data at random or optionally in a voice output operation. Consequently, a different note message is outputted even for the same notice contents, so that a user is not get tired of the voice notification.
