Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring depth of a bearing ground capable of measuring depth of a bearing ground simply and in a short time in a ground improvement work.SOLUTION: A method for measuring depth of a bearing ground 1 comprises: carrying out a plurality of sets of simultaneous microtremor observation at both an optional reference point P and an observation point on a ground surface; acquiring a vertical Fourier spectrum ratio from the reference point P in each observation set based on microtremor wave form in the microtremor observation; obtaining peak period difference observed in two sets of the vertical Fourier spectrum ratio; calculating difference of depth between the two observation points in the bearing ground 1 from the peak period difference based on a separately performed numerical value analysis result; and acquiring the depth of the bearing ground 1 using the difference of depth and a depth determined by a subsoil exploration performed in any of the observation points.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
