Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase a transmission torque by integratedly connecting a base end side of each of flanges to the center part of a hub cylinder in a hub, in which flanges are provided in both the ends of the hub cylinder and multiple spoke locking holes are arranged at a specific pitche around a circumference edge of each of the flanges.
CONSTITUTION: In a spoke type wheel such as a rear wheel of a bicycle, in which multiple spokes 3 are stretched between a hub body 2 and a rim 1, a sprocket SP, to which driving torque by a chain and the like is operated, is connected to one end of the hub body 2. The hub body 2 in such a wheel is formed by arranging flanges 21a, 21b in both ends of a hub cylinder 2a and arranging multiple spoke locking holes 24 at the specific pitche around a circumference edge of each of the flanges 21a, 21b. A base end part of each of the flanges 21a, 21b is integratedly connected to the center part of the hub cylinder 2a, and meanwhile, the circumferential edge parts of the flanges 21a, 21b are formed into the shapes curving to the outside so that transmission torque of the wheel is increased.
