PURPOSE: To aim at making improvements in hardness of a hub and its mechanical strength as well as to prevent any damage to a tape from occurring by fitly clamping a tire part to the peripheral edge of a hub part with a through hole where a turning shaft is inserted into the central part.
CONSTITUTION: A hub part 2 with a through hole 3, where a turning shaft is inserted into the center, is formed with fiberglass reinforced polycarbonate resin or the like by means of injection molding, but in order to prevent any damage to a tape by a glass fiber, a tire part 1 is fitted and fixed to a hub peripheral edge. As for this tire part 1, it is formed into a laminate with styrene- acrylonitrile (AS) resin or the like, having creep resistance, and more than 100°C in glass transition temperature in consideration of marine transport, or formed as outserted at time of injection molding after laminating metal, glass, ceramics or thermosetting resin of phenolic resin, etc. Thus, the outer circumferential surface of a hub is covered with a thine layer of material large in hardness and mechanical strength, whereby any damage to the tape due to the glass fiber is preventable.
