Abstract:

To provide a humidifying method for steam permeation high polymer membrane for suppressing expansion and shrinkage behavior of the steam permeation high polymer membrane forming a humidified flow passage being a factor for reducing humidifying performance of a gas humidifying device and shortening service life of a product and to provide a gas humidifying system.

In the gas humidifying device 1 in which the humidified flow passage 5 formed by the steam permeation high polymer membrane is provided in a humidifying flow passage 4 in which humidifying fluid 16 is supplied by fixing and supporting its both end parts on support members 6, 7, the steam permeation high polymer membrane forming the humidified flow passage 5 is kept in a wet condition by shutting off a discharge pipe passage 35 discharging the humidifying fluid 16 from the humidifying flow passage 4 and communicated with the atmosphere and sealing the humidifying fluid 16 containing water in the humidifying flow passage 4 to let it remain even if flow-in and flow-out of humidified gas 14 for the humidified flow passage 5 stop and supply of the humidifying fluid 16 for the humidifying flow passage 4 stops.
