Title:
HYBRID DC TRANSFER SYSTEM, AND ITS CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3496864
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable hybrid DC transmission system, where overvoltage is not generated in the DC system even in an inverter open accompanying the emergency stop of a self-excitated system of converter.
SOLUTION: This system is constituted by connecting a self-excited converter 22 and a separately excited converter 21 back to back or through a DC transmission line 40. In this case, this is provided with an operation control circuit 50, which operates the selfexcited converter as an inverter, and an operation control circuit 502 which operates the separately excited converter as a forward converter, and further this is provided with a DC voltage increase detecting circuit 504 which detects the DC voltage of the separately excited converter 21 increasing from the set value at about 110% of the stationary value and detects the DC current of the separately excited converter 21 decreasing under the set value at about 90% of the command value. Then, based on the output of both these detecting circuits 504 and 506, an AND circuit 507 stops the converting operation of the separately excited converter 21, detecting the trouble where the self-excited converter reaches the operation stoppage, and even if self-excited convertor stops urgently and it comes to inverter open state, this does not allow overvoltage is the DC system to be generated.
