To provide an active energy ray-curable organic/inorganic hybrid resin composition low in shrinkage, capable of becoming highly hard and making high-thickness film, also excellent in curability even if made into thin film, and furthermore, as necessary, enabling functions including antistaticity, stainproofness and antifoggingness to be imparted simultaneously, and excellent in durability as well.

The organic/inorganic hybrid resin composition comprises (A) an organic/inorganic composite comprising colloidal silica-based inorganic oxide microparticles and an organic polymer having on the side chain ring opening-polymerizable groups each bound via an O-Si-R1-S linkage( R1 is a 2-10C straight-chain or branched alkylene group ) to the inorganic oxide microparticles and subject to cationic photopolymerization and (B) a cationic photopolymerization initiator.
