The lubricating oil composition contains a fluorosilane coupling agent. The fluorosilane coupling agent is preferably a compound of the general formula(I)( wherein, Y is a 1-12C fluoroalkyl; R is a 1-4C alkylene group; and X1, X2 and X3 are each a 1-4C alkoxy, 1-4C alkyl or chlorine atom ).
