Abstract:

To provide a drying machine for timber, capable of reducing drying costs close to zero by efficiently using pellet as eco-energy, and electricity.

Drying costs can be reduced from about 8000 yen/m³ to about 650 yen/m³ by combining pellet obtained by solidifying wood chips and electricity as a heat source for conventional heavy oil, and lowering a drying set temperature inside to 30-40°C.
