Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a hybrid vehicle controller capable of driving an engine without giving discomfort to a passenger.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle controller is provided with an engine; a generator driven by the engine to generate power; a battery for accumulating the generation power of the generator; a traveling motor which drives a vehicle by receiving at least either one of the generation power of the generator or output power from the battery; target engine output deciding means for deciding target engine output which is the target output of the engine; and engine control means for controlling each part of the engine so as to make the output of the engine become the target engine output calculated by a target engine output calculating means. By the target engine output deciding means, the target engine output is decided to be a value which is gradually increased to vehicle speed.
