Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain hybridoma W2 AD 12 capable of recognizing 8KD fragment in decomposed products of the 28KD antigen by a monoclonal antibody of produced IgG2a.

CONSTITUTION: This hybridoma is hybridoma W2 AD 12, stipulated to CNCM as I-553 on May 9. 1986, having 8KD molecular weight, isolated from the 28KD protein of Schistosoma mansoni by acting protease V8 to the 28KD protein of S. mansoni in a tris-HCl buffer, adding a mixture of 2-mercaptoethanol with sodium dodecyl sulfate to stop decomposition reaction of the protein and successively controlling the protein decomposition by boiling at 100°C for a short time, and produced as a monoclonal antibody of IgG2a isotype (W2 AD 12) capable of recognizing the peptide fragment which is recognized by the anti 28KD monoclonal antibody of IgG2a isotype.
