Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generation apparatus capable of improving a heat efficiency as an apparatus, to reduce a heat dissipation loss from the apparatus by a simple constitution, recovering a waste heat and effectively use the waste heat in a hydrogen generation apparatus of a form for subjecting a hydrocarbon-based fuel and water to a reforming reaction.
SOLUTION: This hydrogen generation apparatus is equipped with a hydrocarbon-based fuel feed part 1, a fuel combustion part 4, a water supply part 3, a gas mixing part 11 for formulating a fuel with water to prepare a gas to be reformed and a reforming part 6 packed with a reforming catalyst and generates a hydrogen-containing reformed gas from the gas to be reformed by the catalytic action of the reforming catalyst. In this case, at least one of the gas mixing part and the reforming part is heated by a flue gas formed by the combustion part.
