Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber structure having both hygroscopic and water repellent performances excellent in durability.
SOLUTION: This hygroscopic and water repellent fiber structure comprises a polyester-based fiber having ≥1% moisture absorbing and desorbing parameter ΔMR and a polyfluoroalkyl group-containing acrylic copolymer joined to the surface of the polyester-based fiber, more preferably further either one of an aminoplast resin and a reactional product of a polyfunctional blocked isocyanate-containing urethane resin in addition to the polyfluoroalkyl group- containing acrylic copolymer joined to the polyester-based fiber.
