Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable accurate weft yarn sensing by judging the presence or absence of weft yarn based on data outputted according to time shared data obtained by allocating output waveform data of a weft sensor to the respective input units of a neutral network model. CONSTITUTION:In sensing weft yarn of an air jet loom, sensed waveform data outputted from a weft yarn sensor, arranged in the side opposite to yarn feed and connected through an amplifier and an AD converter to a control computer having a neutral network model are subjected to time sharing to the number of input units of the aforementioned neutral network model. The aforementioned time shared data are simultaneously allocated to the respective input units. The presence or absence of weft yarn can be judged based on data outputted from and output unit according to the above-mentioned allocated time shared data. Thereby, sure judgment can be made by recognition of waveform patterns with a high accuracy without being interfered with noise generation such as sensing of fly waste, etc.
