Abstract:
The weft yarn tensioner and detection system has a common detection unit (13) for both weft yarn channels (8,12). The detection unit (13) uses opto-electrical systems which are at the carrier (13a) at the outlet side of the base body (6). The carrier (13a) has a detection channel (17,18) in two planes (15,16), which are identical to the planes (7,11) of the yarn channels (8,12). The weft yarn channels (8,12) and the detection channels (17,18) have the same shape and size in cross section. The detection unit (13) has a beam transmitter (13b) and receiver (13c), and at least one beam transfer (13d) between them at an intermediate section (13e) of the carrier (13a). The beam transmitter (13b) or receiver (13c) is peripherally at a selected detection channel (17,18) so that a beam flow between them can be interrupted. A single beam transmitter (13b) is at the intermediate carrier section (13e), with a beam flow to the receiver (13c) peripherally at each detection channel (17,18). Or the intermediate carrier section (13e) has a single beam receiver (13c), with a beam flow between it and the transmitter (13b) peripherally at each detection channel (17,18). The intermediate carrier section (13e) has a vertical channel for the beam flow.
