Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0790510
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a sliding member excellent in wear resistance, as a structural member for compressors, such as rotary compressor, and scroll compressor.

CONSTITUTION: This sliding member for compressor is constituted of an Fe-base sintered alloy infiltrated with copper. The alloy can be prepared by infiltrating Cu or Cu alloy into an Fe-base sintered alloy which has 5-20% porosity and also has a composition containing, as dispersed phase forming components, 2-20%, by weight, of one or more kinds among Mo-Ni alloy, Mo-Co alloy, and Mo-Ni-Co alloy, containing, as matrix forming components, 1-3% C, 0.3-1.5% Si, 8.5-16% Cr, 1-5% Mo, 0.4-3% V, and 0.1-2% Mn, and having the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and further containing, if necessary, 0.1-2% Ni and/or 0.1-8% Co.
