Abstract:

Process for chemically binding moulding compositions based on aliphatic polyamides on the one hand and carboxylic rubbers on the other hand, and the materials produced by this process. The object of the invention was to develop a process for preparing a solvent-resistant bond between thermoplastic moulding compositions and rubbers. The process according to the invention comprises covulcanising a rubber composition comprising a carboxylic rubber, a peroxidic vulcanising agent and optionally further components with a thermoplastic containing at least 30% by weight of aliphatic polyamides. The materials obtained by this process are preferably employed as composites.
