Abstract:

An anti-methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) composition containing an imidazole derivative represented by general formula (I), wherein R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> represent each independently hydrogen or halogen. Since the above compound has an anti-MRSA activity, it can provide a composition efficacious in preventing infection with MRSA and a textile product bearing the composition.
