Abstract:
To provide an ice maker that can make sanitary ice by suppressing propagation of bacteria.SOLUTION: An ice maker 10 includes: a water storage tank 60 including an inflow part 68 into which water flows and an outflow part 61A from which water flows out, and capable of storing water inside thereof; an ice making part 20 for freezing water flowing out from the outflow part 61A to generate ice; and a UV sterilization device 90 for sterilizing water by irradiating the water with UV light. The UV sterilization device 90 is arranged so that the UV light irradiation range thereof includes a middle of inflow of water that flows into it from at least the inflow part 68.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
