Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making machine that can make an excellent quality rink layer without cracks efficiently by suppressing the growth of the cracks or extinguishing them.
SOLUTION: An ice making machine 10 for making a rink ice is provided with a rink floor partitioned into small partitions 14a to 14h two dimensionally, laid with refrigerating pipes 16a to 16h laid on each of partitions independently and having an independent refrigerant source that can discharge predetermined quantity of cold heat through the refrigerating pipes to each of the partitions. The ice making machine 10 is provided with AE sensors 32 to 36 installed on the rink floor, detecting the sound and outputting the characteristic of the detected sound and the loudness of it, a crack position detecting device 38 determining the generating cause of the sound based on the characteristic of the sound output from the AE sensor and identifying the small partition where the sound generating source exists and a flow control device 20a to 20h adjusting the cold heat outputting quantity of the small partition identified by the crack position detecting device 38 to a predetermined value.
