Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-capacitance IGBT single power supply driver which prevents a parasitic turn-on voltage from occurring.SOLUTION: An IGBT driving apparatus includes: a gate driver IC provided with an active Miller clamp function; an external capacitor 420 interposed between a gate and an emitter of an IGBT; a signal inverting part 430 to invert an output signal of the gate driver IC; and a switching part 440 to switch power supplied to the external capacitor 420 in response to an output signal of the signal inverting part 430.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
