Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge a secondary battery by inserting a remote key having both a transmitter circuit and the secondary battery serving as the power supply for the circuit into a key cylinder and to determine whether or not the remote key inserted in the key cylinder is the normal one. SOLUTION: A remote key 5 has a secondary coil 28 in which power is induced when it is inserted into a key cylinder, and also has a transmitter circuit 23 transmitting an electric wave signal of a specific code and a secondary battery 27 serving as the power supply for the transmitter circuit 23. A constant voltage circuit 33 generates a dc constant voltage output from the power induced in the secondary coil 28, thereby charging the secondary battery 27 via a charging circuit 46. When the constant voltage circuit 33 generates the dc constant voltage output, a switching circuit 43 is turned on by a timer circuit 51 to supply a dc voltage to the transmitter circuit 23 to operate an ignition key device for transmission only for a fixed time.
