Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously switch to an auxiliary light source by detecting non-lighting of a main light source in a ready-to-light state by supply of power.
SOLUTION: Power is supplied to a main fluorescent lamp 7 having a live load through terminals 103, 104 for live load to light it. If abnormality arises in the main fluorescent lamp 7, potential difference produced in a current coil of a stop-state detection transformer 11 is decreased, voltage-coil voltage is lowered, and output voltage of detectors D1, D2 is also decreased. A relay driving part RL1: 17a stops operation, a relay switch 17b is turned on, a relay driving part 17b stops operation, a relay switch part 19b is turned off, and power is instantaneously supplied to a backup fluorescent lamp 9 to light it. At the same time, a relay switch 17c is turned off, and an auxiliary circuit operation signal is outputted to a monitoring system. A non-lighting state is not produced, maintenance period is reduced to almost half, and labor-saving can be realized.
