Abstract:
To provide an illuminator that exhibits different luminous states in accordance with a rotation direction and a rotation amount by intuitive rotation operation around three-dimensional axes orthogonal to each other, where the illuminator allows more intuitive operation without dependence of operational feeling on the rotation direction.SOLUTION: An illuminator 1 comprises: a luminous body 11 which includes a luminous element 112 and changes one or more of a luminous direction, a luminous amount and a hue in accordance with a rotation direction and a rotation amount around three-dimensional axes orthogonal to each other; and a base 12 which can receive the luminous body 11 thereon and supplies a drive power source to the luminous body 11. The luminous body 11 comprises detection means to detect the rotation direction and the rotation amount around the three-dimensional axes orthogonal to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
