Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a high-quality full-color image by using a polyester comprising a specified diol component and acid component as the resin of an image accepting layer.
CONSTITUTION: A resin essentially comprising a polyester resin is used for the resin to form the image accepting layer on a transparent substrate. The polyester resin consists of a diol component and an acid component. As for the diol component, bisphenol-A modified with ethylene glycol and propylene glycol expressed by the formula is used. In the formula, R is ethylene or propylene group, x and y are integers l to 5 and the average of x and y is 1 to 3. The acid component used is such as fumaric acid, phthalic acid, terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, maleic acid, succinic acid, adipic acid, citraconic acid, and itaconic acid. It is preferable that the accepting layer contains inorg. and/or org. fine particles having 0.1-10μm average particle size.
