Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the image data storage device which performs superior storing operation without any increase in manufacture cost by increasing the transfer processing speed of inputted image data to an optical disk.
CONSTITUTION: When a central control unit 6 decides that plural image data input devices Sa-Ds are equal in the input probability of image data, previously set certain priority levels are set in buffers 31a-31d, and image data are transferred to the optical disk 4 according to the priority levels; when the image data input devices Sa-Sd have a difference in input probability larger than a specific value, priority levels corresponding to the write order of the image data are set in the buffers 31a-31d and the image data are transferred to the optical disk 4 according to the priority levels. When one of the image data input devices Sa-Sd send a stop signal indicating a temporary break of the input of the image data, the priority levels are altered so that the top priority is set for the image data input device having sent the stop signal.
