Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which can prevent sinking of sheets from affecting a detection result of a detector detecting that the sheets discharged and loaded on a tray reach a prescribed height.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus can prevent erroneous determination that shift is made to the no-full-load state by making a difference between a threshold Lr1 used in determination of shift from the full-load state to the no-full-load state and a threshold Lr2 used in determination of shift from the no-full-load state to the full-load state larger than a sinking amount by which a sheet P exceeding the threshold Lr2 at the time of discharge reduces until the elapse of prescribed time since the value output from the detector 5 after the elapse of prescribed time does not become lower than the threshold Lr1 even if the sheet P determined to be in the full-load state with the value output from the detector 5 exceeding the threshold Lr2 reduces with the elapse of prescribed time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
