The image formation device includes a pressing member moving means 17 for moving the pressing member 5 between the position for pressing the recording medium W to the plate cylinder 3 and the position separate from the plate cylinder 3 in synchronism with the rotation of the plate cylinder 3, and a holding means 21 for holding the pressing member 5 at a constant position separate from the plate cylinder 3 by eliminating the movement of the pressing member 5 by the pressing member moving means 17.
