Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that allows a user to confirm a releasing procedure without requiring movement of the user to a position of an operation panel on which a procedure for releasing jam is displayed.SOLUTION: The image formation device 1 comprises: notification means (a display control portion 16 and an operation panel 12) that shows the state of the image formation device 1, has the operation panel 12 capable of instructing an operation to the image formation device 1 and notifies a user of a procedure for releasing jam; position detection means (a user position detecting portion 21, an operation detecting portion 18, a sensor control portion 19 and the like) that detects whether the user is present at any position around the image formation device 1; and notification control means (a jam releasing-method notification/control portion 22) that controls, on the basis of the position detected by the position detection means, the notification means so that a method for notifying the user of the procedure for releasing jam is changed and controlled.
