Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which can suppress reduction in transfer efficiency in such a case that a resistance-lowered recording material is used, and can suppress toner contamination to the recording material.SOLUTION: An image formation device 100 comprises: an image carrier 1; a transfer member 5; a guide member 50 provided to contact a recording material P held between the image carrier 1 and the transfer member 5, which guides the recording material P to a contact portion Nt of the image carrier 1 with the transfer member 5; and a power source 50a which applies a voltage to the guide member 50. The guide member 50 has an electrically conductive part 51 which contacts with the recording material P and to which the voltage from the power source 50a is applied, and the electrically conductive part 51 is configured to be arranged inside an area W1 where the recording material P whose width in the direction approximately orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the recording material P is maximum among the usable recording materials P in the image formation device 100 passes.
