Abstract:
To enable an image formation device to execute bookbinding processing, even when the number of images is below the number of images whose qualities can be assured, registered in the image formation device.SOLUTION: An image formation system comprises an image formation device and a bookbinding device. The image formation device includes a job obtaining part that obtains a printing job, a control part that controls printing processing, and a display part that displays information concerning bookbinding. The control part determines whether the number of images is above a first threshold or not, on the basis of the fact that the printing job includes a bookbinding instruction (S910). The display part, when the number of images is less than the first threshold, displays a notice for confirming a user of whether the user executes bookbinding processing or not (S930). The bookbinding device executes the bookbinding processing, on the basis of the fact that the number of images is above a second threshold which is smaller than the first threshold (S950 and S920), in response to reception of input of an instruction to execute bookbinding (s940) after the notice is displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
