Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can provide a booklet opening in a correct direction.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus disassembles a booklet that is formed of a plurality of pieces of printed recording paper and subjected to bookbinding processing; stores, in an auxiliary storage device, a plurality of pieces of image data corresponding to documents on pages included in the disassembled plurality of pieces of respective printed recording paper; and associates the plurality of pieces of stored image data with information on a direction to open the disassembled booklets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
