In the image forming apparatus 1, a sub CPU 70 searches for device information according to a demand to send from a device information list of a nonvolatile memory 100 when demand data to send is acquired from an external device when the image forming apparatus 1 is in a power-saving state, and transmits the device information according to the demand to send to the external device by a network I/F part 130.
