The image forming system includes: a control parameter determination part 103 configured to, in the case a document printing instruction includes an instruction to exceptionally control the specified page of the document, determine printing control setting information in accordance with the instruction; an image forming part 10 configured to form a document image in accordance with the printing instruction and the setting information determined by the control parameter determination part 103; and a confirmation mode execution part 104 configured to, in the case a confirmation instruction is given to the printing instruction, form a document which shows the contents of the setting information, instead of the formation of the document image by the image forming part 10; and a report output part 106 configured to output the document which shows the contents of the setting information.
