Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system that enables a user to easily remove a remaining sheet even when automatic purge is cancelled.SOLUTION: An image forming system 100 comprises: a sheet conveying part; a paper jam detection part; an automatic purge execution part 471; automatic purge inhibition part 472; and a sheet position control part 473. The automatic purge execution part 471 determines whether the automatic purge can be executed, and when the automatic purge can be executed, controls the sheet conveying part to execute the automatic purge. When detecting a factor that inhibits the execution of the automatic purge before the execution of the automatic purge despite the fact that the automatic purge can be executed, the automatic purge inhibition part 472 inhibits the execution of the automatic purge. When the automatic purge is inhibited, the sheet position control part 473 controls the sheet conveying part to convey a sheet, of remaining sheets, located at a position where a user has difficulty removing the sheet to a predetermined position where the user can easily remove the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
