Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of setting an upper limit of sheets to be loaded suitably.SOLUTION: In a discharge tray 52, a sheet on which an image has been formed by an image forming part 3 and a fixing device 4 is discharged and loaded. A detection flag 53 and a full-load detection sensor 55 detect a top face of sheets to be loaded to the discharge tray 52. A control section 110 acquires information on sheets to be loaded to the discharge tray 52. The control section 110 has a CPU 111 that determines an upper limit of sheets to be loaded to the discharge tray 52 based on the detection information of the detection flag 53 and full-load detection sensor 55 and the acquired information of sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
