Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parts feeder capable of returning parts remaining on a vibration rail to a predetermined place.SOLUTION: A parts feeder comprises a basket 10 that can reserve screws W in large numbers, a vibration rail 30 on which screws W in the basket 10 are hung in order and conveyed forward, and an air injection unit 50 configured to inject compressed air to the screws W hung on the vibration rail 30 and return the screws W from the vibration rail into the basket 10. This allows the screws W hung on the vibration rail 30 to be returned into the basket 10 by the compressed air injected from the air injection unit 50, making it possible to complete, more quickly than the conventional art, the screw replacement work for a changeover to a different screw type by a work-piece set-up change or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
