To provide an image forming device capable of preventing color slippage caused by positional accuracy in terms of the arrangement of each light emitting element installed in an exposing means.
The color slippage correcting quantity for each color, cyan(C), magenta(M), yellow(Y) with reference to black(Bk) is calculated by a color slippage detecting part 66 based on detection values from resist detecting sensors RS1 and RS2 and based on data which is previously stored by a light quantity correction storage part 64 and on the positional accuracy in terms of the arrangement of each light emitting element installed in each LED array 12. And, the color slippage of each color data is corrected by a color slippage correcting memory 61 based on the color slippage correcting quantity for each color data other than the black(Bk) inputted from an image IF 31. Thereafter, each LED array 12 is controlled to be driven by an LED driving part 63 based on the image data whose color slippage is already corrected.
