Abstract:

To temporarily retract paper when capacity shortage of an area storing image data occurs, and to automatically restart printing after solving the capacity shortage.SOLUTION: An image forming device is equipped with a paper feeding portion, a paper carrying portion, an image forming portion, a memory, and a double-sided print carrying portion. The memory ensures a storage area during printing, and stores image data to be supplied to the image forming portion in the storage area. When the capacity shortage of the storage area occurs, the paper carrying portion makes paper enter the double-sided print carrying portion to retract the paper. The double-sided print carrying portion, when the capacity addition of the storage area is performed, carries the paper toward the image forming portion and makes the paper re-entry the image forming portion. The image forming portion prints on the paper which re-entered the image forming portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
