Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the trace of a punch hole by discriminating the punch hole from original read data by means of a scanner.
CONSTITUTION: The scanner 26 reads an original on contact glass and the picture data is transmitted to a picture processing part 24. The picture processing part 24 collates the picture data with a punch hole pattern stored in ROM 22 with reference to a platen sheet obtained by directly or previously reading picture data by the scanner 26 or the picture data level of a transportation belt in an automatic original feed device. Then, the punch hole is discriminated, picture data of the punch hole is eliminating/boring-processed and is transmitted to a printer 27 and a copy operation is executed.
