Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a lithography plate having particularly low minimum density and high gradient with improved sensitometry by using a bio-friendly developer.
SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a lithography plate involves a stage to generate an image forming element with a photosensitive layer containing a silver halide emulsion and an image receiving layer containing a physical development nucleus having a water permeability relationship with the emulsion layer respectively on a carrier according to the indicated order, so as to contain at least 50mg/m2 of tetramethyl reduction acid and at least 100mg/cm2 of ascorbic acid, and another stage to expose the image forming element as per image and then develop the image forming element using alkaline processing liquid in the presence of a developer and a silver halide solvent.
