Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent transfer deficiencies by forming the colorless undercoating layer formed on a support from a thermoplastic resin selected from an ethylene/ ethyl acrylate copolymer resin or a graft modified resin and a styrenic thermoplastlc elastomer and a reactive silicone compd.
CONSTITUTION: An image forming material 8 is constituted of a support 9, a colorless undercoating layer 10 and a colored photosensitive layer 11. The colorless undercoating layer 10 contains at least one kind of a thermoplastic resin selected from an ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer resin or a graft modified resin and a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer and a reactive silicone compd. Further, an ultraviolet curing photopolymerization initiator may be added to the colorless undercoating layer 10. As the styrenic thermoplastic elastomer, a styrene-polybutadiene-styrene elastomer is used. As the reactive silicone compd., polysiloxane having a functional group is used.
