Abstract:
To provide an image forming method and its apparatus using a ribbon cartridge.
The image forming method using the ribbon cartridge includes a step of displaying the screen of a user interface which can choose the king of an overcoating ribbon provided in the ribbon cartridge, a step of printing the image to a printing sheet using ribbons of respective colors provided in the ribbon cartridge, and a step of overcoating the printing sheet in which the printing is performed using selected overcoating ribbon. Thereby, various photograph images which cannot be reproduced by a conventional color can be expressed by diversifying the ribbon for the overcoating of a photograph printer.
