To improve unevenness in exposure density, in particular the unevenness in back-and-forth writing due to scanning exposure using plural light sources for exposure.
A photosensitive material having at least a photosensitive silver halide emulsion and a binder on a substrate and containing at least one selected from metallic ions and metallic complex ions as electron traps having ≤0.2 eV depth in the silver halide emulsion is exposed using an exposure head having plural different light sources which correspond to adjacent pixels for exposure and emit light in a specified wavelength range to form the objective image. The specified wavelength range is from the shortest wavelength of the plural light sources to the longest wavelength. Variation in the sensitivity of the photosensitive material in the wavelength range is controlled to ≤0.01 logE/nm.
