Abstract:
To provide an image forming unit that prevents wear of a photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An image forming unit comprises a photoreceptor, and an electrifying member that is in contact with a surface of the photoreceptor to electrify the photoreceptor. The photoreceptor has a conductive substrate, and a laminated photosensitive layer arranged on the conductive substrate and having a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer. The charge transport layer contains at least one of polyester resin having a constitutional unit having an aromatic ring and polycarbonate resin having a constitutional unit having an aromatic ring. The electrifying member has a support member and an elastic layer arranged on the support member. The elastic layer has a storage elastic modulus G' at a frequency of 100 Hz of 5.0 MPa or less in dynamic viscoelasticity measurement at a temperature of 24°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
