Abstract:
To provide a fixing apparatus of an IH system which has a means for avoiding causing a non-paper passage section to rise in temperature due to the size of a recording material being passed along a heat roller.
The image heating apparatus includes the fixing device of the induction heat system, and a shielding means for shielding from a magnetic flux. The apparatus performs processing for returning to a home position after print processing.
